Flights to Cape Town for the Argus Cycle

Most airlines seem to have put their prices up knowing that the Argus tour is coming up. SAA have a special set up with Pick ‘n Pay to help get your bicycle down to Cape Town. You will need to go into PicknPay and you pay them R250. This is for the return trip for your bike. SAA also recommend that you get a special transport bag for your bike to ensure it gets down to Cape town safely and undamaged.
If you are leaving from Johannesburg (OR Tambo) then you need to check your bike in at terminal B in domestic arrivals Kerbside (there will be signs). If you are leaving from Durban, please check-in your bike at the Technical Hanger. At both airports, please have your bike checked in between the 6th-13th March to ensure it gets to Cape Town in time.
There will be directional signage at Cape Town airport, telling you where to collect your bike from. To collect your bike you will need your ID or passport AND your claim tag.
